This handmade lathe product is made of finnish curly birch.
The baseline for the design of the darning mushroom is its use: a tool that is as naturally suitable for its intended use as possible, which supports the product to be processed and thus contributes to the progress of the work.
As the name implies, the product is suitable as a work platform for garments to be repaired by darning (for example, socks), but also for patterning and decorating clothes.
The darning mushroom is surface-treated with EU-approved, fully drying wood oil. If necessary, the darning mushroom can be cleaned with a damp towel.
