Puruset Ny is a four-person company from Jämsä, Finland.

 

Puruset Ny makes handmade wooden bowties from Finnish wood. Their goal is to show how versatile the raw material wood is and how it can be utilized instead of plastic, for example.

 

Puruset Ny manufactures all its bows by hand and strives to take Finnish small businesses into account when sourcing raw materials.

Because bows are handcrafted and wood is a living raw material, each bow is unique.

In the future, as oil resources dwindle and climate change accelerates, more sustainable alternatives will have to be developed alongside products traditionally made of plastic or metal. Puruset Ny strives yo be a pioneer in this matter.
