These handcrafted products are made in from finnish birch wood.
The aroma of the tar is achieved by treating the outer surface of the bottom of the product with sauna tar, this procedure can also be renewed at home if necessary.
The inner surface of the products has been treated with an EU-approved 2-component varnish and it can withstand both hot, cold and alcoholic substances. The outer surface of the products has been treated with EU-approved, fully drying wood oil.
The products can be cleaned by washing much like any other dishes, but not by soaking. However, loose water should be wiped off the surface of the products immediately after washing with a towel. The products should then be set to dry in a side position.
