These handcrafted products are made of Finnish curly birch.
 
As with tar barrel products, the curly birch goblet can be treated by brushing sauna tar on the outer surface of the bottom of the cup. This however has not been done by default.
 
The inner surface of the products has been treated with an EU-approved 2-component varnishr and it can withstand both hot, cold and alcoholic substances. The outer surface of the products is treated with EU-approved, fully drying wood oil.
 
The products can be cleaned by washing much like any other dishes, but not by soaking. However, loose water should be wiped off the surface of the products immediately after washing with a towel. The products should then be set to dry in a side position.
